On April 8th, 1994, two Venture Scouts from 40th Oxford (Kennington) Scouts, Jill Hickman and Katrina Erskine, were awarded the Queen’s Scout Award in a ceremony at Halliwell. The award was presented to 188 Scouts from the Oxford area.
